We are a community organization
based in Madison Wisconsin USA working to reduce abject poverty in
Africa through rural development projects. Currently our focus is Cameroon.
Villages in Cameroon are characterized by a rudimentary or nonexistent
health infrastructure and the spread of disease. Basic medicine has become
scarce and the young population is forever at risk. Minor health problems
and pregnancy easily degenerate into fatal conditions for lack of health
care. To address this situation, the Madison community can make a small
effort to improve the lives of people dear to us.
Our mission is three-fold:
- To promote basic health care and education
- To curb malnutrition and infectious diseases, particularly malaria
and HIV/AIDS
- To promote the protection and conservation of the environment through
participatory development
Monetary donations can help:
$8 can feed a child for a month
$1 a day buys clean water
